Science Communication Fellowship
How do you make the act of finding travel?
Scientific findings travel remarkably well. What is harder to carry with them is the act that produced the finding: the observation, uncertainty, experiment, comparison, and reasoning through which something became science.
The Fellowship
The Fellowship develops ways to communicate that process without losing the evidence and uncertainty that made the science worth understanding.
Fellows create scientific videos and host Burstcast conversations with researchers.
This is not about repackaging scientific findings. It is about building a new craft for making the act of finding travel.
Applicants may come from across medicine and the life sciences.
Applications are now open for the November 2026 cohort.
Approximately 6 hours/week during the first three months, including a 2-hour weekly cohort session and a monthly one-to-one conversation.
The three-month core is followed by up to three months to complete and publish the work.

Applications consist of two questions. Respond in writing or by video. Keep your full response to no more than 200 words or 2 minutes.
